Nashiji Plate (L)

Nashiji is a series of tableware that showcases the traditional Japanese handcraft techniques in porcelain, but with a modern design touch. Other than the standard white porcelain, Nashiji also features another finishing with "textured spots", which are inspired by the patterns on a pear.
 
Plate and dishes from this series comes with a slight indent on one of the sides, that gently separates the sauces/gravy from the rest of the food. A thoughtful, yet subtle design.
